The short answer
You earn commission on what your referrals earn from our partners - offers, surveys and SharkTasks. You do not earn commission on bonuses the site itself hands out, such as Reward Wheel spins, Reward Codes, Race prizes or Daily Challenges.
The reason is simple: partner earnings bring revenue into the platform, and your commission is paid out of that revenue. Site bonuses are already a cost to us, so paying a commission on top of them would mean paying twice for the same coins.
Earnings that DO pay you commission
Every time a referral of yours gets credited from one of these sources, a separate commission transaction is created for you automatically:
- Offerwall offers - app installs, sign-ups, purchase offers and game levels completed through the partners on the Earn page.
- Surveys - every completed survey from any of our survey partners.
- SharkTasks - the worker reward on tasks, once the task is approved (either by the advertiser, automatically by our approval job, or by support after a dispute).
You do not have to claim anything. The commission is added on top of your referral's reward - it is never taken out of what they earned. Their balance is not reduced by a single coin.
Earnings that do NOT pay commission
These are site-funded bonuses, and they are excluded:
- Winnings from the Reward Wheel
- Bonuses from redeeming Reward Codes
- Prizes from leaderboard competitions - see the Race rules
- Daily Challenge rewards
- Your referral's own referral commission (commission does not stack down a second level)
How much do you actually get? The tier table
Your rate is not fixed at a flat number. It starts at 10% and climbs to 30% as your affiliate earnings grow. To reach a tier you must meet both requirements at the same time: the lifetime total of commission you have earned, and the commission you earned in the last 30 days.
That second requirement is deliberate. It keeps the top tiers for affiliates who are still actively bringing in users, rather than locking a 30% rate forever after one good month.

Both figures count your commission earnings, not your referrals' earnings. You can see your current numbers, your live rate and your progress towards the next tier on the Tiers tab of your affiliates dashboard.
Worked example. A referral completes a $4.00 offer. At Tier 1 you receive $0.40 on top - that is 400 coins, since 1,000 coins equal $1.00. At Tier 5 the same offer pays you $0.80, and at Tier 10 it pays $1.20. The referral still receives their full $4.00 in every case.
Pending commission and reversals
Commission follows the state of the transaction that produced it, from start to finish:
- Held for review. If your referral's reward is placed on hold, your commission is created immediately but stays pending. It only lands in your balance when their transaction completes.
- Reversed or charged back. If a partner cancels a conversion after paying it out, the matching commission is reversed as well: the amount is deducted from your balance, the original commission entry is marked as cancelled, and the XP earned from it is removed too. This is the most common reason for an unexpected drop - see why your balance decreased.
Your dashboard refreshes on a short delay. Referral statistics are cached for about 5 minutes. If a commission does not show up the second it is credited, give it a few minutes and reload before contacting support.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the commission come out of my referral's reward?
No. It is paid on top, from the platform's share of the partner revenue. Your referral always receives the full advertised amount.
My rate shows 10% but I have passed the lifetime target - why?
Almost always the 30-day requirement. Both conditions must be met at the same time, so a quiet month can drop you back to a lower rate until your recent earnings recover.
Do I earn commission when my referral cashes out?
No. Commission is generated when they earn, not when they withdraw. Their cashouts have no effect on your balance either way.
Is there a second level - do I earn from my referral's referrals?
No. The programme is single level. You earn from the users you refer directly, and their commission earnings do not generate anything for you.
