What a reward code actually gives you
Reward codes are short strings you type into the Rewards page to claim a bonus. There are two kinds, and it is worth knowing which one you are holding:
- Coin codes pay a fixed amount straight into your balance. The credit is instant and shows up in your transaction history as "Reward code redeemed".
- Ticket codes pay lottery tickets into the current week's draw instead of coins. They do not touch your balance - check the ticket counter, not the balance, after redeeming one. See how the weekly lottery works.
How to redeem
- Open the Rewards page.
- Scroll to the Reward Codes section.
- Type the code in and press Redeem.
Capitalisation does not matter - SHARK2026 and shark2026 are treated as the same code. Spaces do, so do not paste a trailing space along with the code.
Why a code might not work
Four separate rules are checked, in order, before a code pays out. If a code is rejected, the message tells you which one you hit:

| One per account | Each code can be redeemed once per user, permanently. There is no way to claim the same code twice. |
| Total use limit | Every code has a fixed number of redemptions across the whole site. Once that number is reached the code is dead for everyone - first come, first served. |
| Affiliate-locked | Some codes only work for members referred by one specific affiliate. If you were not referred by them, the code names who it belongs to and refuses. |
| New members only | Some codes are reserved for accounts that have not completed a single paid offer, survey or task yet. One credited earning is enough to make you ineligible. |
Codes do not expire on a clock. There is no end date attached to a code - it stays live until its use limit runs out. That is why popular codes disappear within minutes of being posted while quieter ones still work weeks later.
Affiliate codes
Affiliates can be given codes that are locked to their own referrals. If you run a referral audience, these are a genuinely useful hook: your invitees get a bonus nobody else can claim, and the code is worthless to anyone who did not sign up through you.
Two limits apply. You cannot redeem your own locked code - the system blocks it explicitly - and the code checks the referral record, not the link someone clicked, so it only works for people who actually completed registration under your referral link.

Where new codes are posted
New codes go out on our social channels, and Discord is usually first. Because the use limits are what kill a code rather than a deadline, being early genuinely matters:

Frequently Asked Questions
I got "This code has already been fully redeemed" - can it be reset?
No. That message means the code hit its total use limit. It is finished for everyone, and support cannot extend it. Watch for the next drop instead.
The code says it gives lottery tickets my account cannot collect. Why?
Private accounts, and accounts referred by a private affiliate, do not take part in the weekly draw. Rather than let you burn a one-time redemption on a prize you would never receive, the system refuses the code and leaves it unused.
Do reward codes pay my referrer a commission?
No. Codes are a site-funded bonus, so no referral commission is generated - see what earns commission.
Can I share a code I received?
Public codes, yes - that is what they are for. Affiliate-locked codes will simply fail for anyone outside that affiliate's referrals, so sharing them more widely achieves nothing.
