Understanding How Account Removal Works
Deleting your Shark Earnings account is a permanent and irreversible action. This article explains what happens when you delete your account, which data is removed, and how the process works.
Permanent Action
Once you confirm the deletion of your account, the action cannot be undone. We will not be able to restore your profile, rewards, referral network, or any associated data after the deletion is complete.
What Will Be Deleted:
When you delete your account, the following information will be permanently removed from our systems:
- Current Balance: Any remaining funds will be lost. Withdraw first - gift cards start at $1.00 with no fee, see the fee breakdown.
- Level Progress: Your level, XP, and progress history.
- Referral Network: All referred users will be unlinked from your account, along with the commission tier you built up. See how the referral programme works.
- Completed Offers: Your offer history and stats.
- Profile & Account Data: Login credentials and personal profile information. Some records are kept longer for legal reasons - see how your data is protected.
This data cannot be recovered once the deletion is confirmed.
Immediate Log-Out
After deleting your account, you will be automatically logged out and will no longer be able to access your dashboard or any part of the platform.
How to Delete Your Account
- Go to Account Settings.
- Open the Account tab.
- Scroll down to the Danger Zone section.
- Click Delete Account and confirm the action.
For security reasons, you will be required to answer a security question before finalizing the deletion.
Before You Delete: If you believe there is an issue with your account, your earnings, or your activity history, we encourage you to contact our support team before proceeding. We are here to help at support@sharkearnings.com.
